Birgit Smythe is the MD of Envisage Solutions. The company, originally called Eirteic Consulting (Africa), was formed in 2005. During these 15 years, Smythe has established Envisage as the go-to company for IBM products in the IT management and monitoring space. Smythe holds a degree in electronic engineering from UCT and worked for the Department of Communications and Cisco Systems, among others, before running Envisage.
