Conrad heads up the architecture within Santam. He has nearly 30 years of experience in IT, most of that in financial services, and has spent the last 15 years in senior architecture roles. This experience has enabled him to have a business as well as technology view of problems and solutions. He is pragmatic in his approach and that enables him to lead, guide and craft the enterprise architecture with the best interest of Santam at heart. In Santam, he has played a role in all the major initiatives that required architecture involvement. This includes the Mainframe replacement with modern insurance systems, CRM implementation, document management, data warehousing and more recently cloud-based solutions.

Over and above the architecture team responsibility, he also manages the Atlassian team which supports the Agile and DevOps functions.
