Herman is an IT transformation leader who over the past 25 years worked to enable strategic change through business and technology simplification and renewal initiatives. With a background in software development and program management, his career spans across several industries, including retail, primary healthcare, and P&C insurance. He joined the Santam transformation journey with Guidewire in 2012 and played both leading and supporting roles in a series of multi-year initiatives to establish a modern core systems, data, and digital platform for the Santam conventional businesses. A passionate Agilist, Herman is a Scrum practitioner, with a keen interest in product-based value delivery.
