Breathe new life into older printers

While many South Africans may be feeling despondent about current affairs and the state of the economy, Roan Systems is doing its part to help its customers beat the negativity.

The maintenance plans are offered at a fixed cost, and range from full maintenance plans to parts only maintenance plans, labour only services plans or even ad-hoc repairs.

"We customise our service plans to suit the needs and the budget of our customers. That way, worry about breakdowns, the parts, the travel expenses, the exchange rate and all the other negative issues, and our customers have peace of mind knowing that we have them covered," Burrows says. "Even customers who are unsure of their model of printer are covered. They can call our service centre and speak to one of our service advisors who are well trained to provide specific advice once they have all the necessary information."

He adds that Roan Systems offers a complete solution for any printer needs, including laser printers, thermal / label printers, dot matrix printers, line printers, and receipt / P O S printers. In addition, the company provides experienced, trained and certified technicians offering on-site service and fast response times.

Customers opting for the full maintenance plan obtain on-site support, four-hour response time, annual services, all parts and labour, as well as all call out and travel fees as part of the annual, quarterly or monthly fee. Service only maintenance plans cover on-site service, annual services, and all labour.

"If and when our current economic and social climate gets better, everything changes. But right now, it may be the better option for your company to keep and maintain your printer or do a little 'refurb'," Burrows concludes.
