Praesignis diversifies as economy re-opens

Praesignis, the data solutions specialist consultancy, is delighted to announce its recent acquisition of the Quenco Group as part of its diversification strategy to move into different sectors of the market.

The Quenco Group was established in 2019 by Quentus Odendaal, after having been in the human capital solutions industry for almost two decades. Its key aim was to serve clients operating within the engineering, power generation, petrochemical and construction sectors, with a core focus on outsourced staffing and contractor management services for artisans (blue-collar skills), on fixed-term projects and limited duration assignments. Its services also included plant ‘shutdown and manpower planning’ as well as turnkey HR management solutions.

“After discussions, we soon realised that there is major synergy between the two companies and that its matching infrastructure would drive a thriving business in the temporary employment industry,” says Johan Ceronio, CEO of Praesignis.

Arrangements were concluded and a new company was established within the Praesignis Group, when Crewsignis was founded.

“We believe that now is the time to expand our business, especially from a risk management point of view. We see this portion of the market as being one of the main sectors that have been affected by COVID-19, but we firmly believe that post-COVID-19, it will also be one of the sectors that will see a huge demand in the temporary staffing and skill solutions,” says Ceronio.

Odendaal has been appointed as Managing Director of Crewsignis and will be looking after its full bouquet of outsourced human capital solutions.

Odendaal has over 19 years of experience within the artisanal staffing and HR environment serving blue-chip and SME clients, as well as over 10 years in senior management and exco roles.
