MEGA International recognised as enterprise architecture leader by Analyst Group

Research report identifies top enterprise architecture tool vendors.

MEGA International has been named a leader by Forrester Research, in: “The Forrester Wave: Enterprise Architecture Management Suites, Q1 2021” published 4 March 2021. Forrester named MEGA one of the six leaders among enterprise architecture (EA) tool vendors. MEGA received its highest scores in the criteria of capability architecture, risk architecture, security architecture, product vision, partner ecosystem and market presence.

For this evaluation, Forrester completed a 28-criterion evaluation of enterprise architecture management suite (EAMS) providers and identified the 12 most significant ones – including MEGA International.

MEGA International is an impressively improved EAMS with a strong business focus,” said the report. “This vendor will meet the needs of EA professionals and is very strong in risk, security, and business capability management. MEGA International has a robust strategy and is likely to maintain its position in the market due to its go-to-market plan, innovation agenda and support for global deployments.” The report also noted: “MEGA International’s client references indicate strong support for meeting their modelling needs, exceptional vendor response time, strong capabilities related to managing assets, and best-practice insights on capability management.”

Through a single shared collaborative platform, MEGA offers a comprehensive view of risks, business and IT assets, providing a clear picture of how these items are tied to business and IT. HOPEX’s ability to highlight potential risks will help business leaders make faster and better-informed decisions about corporate priorities and help reduce the company’s exposure to possible threats. “Our HOPEX platform is continuously being improved with our customers’ needs top of mind. We empower our customers to better conduct capability-based planning of their enterprise transformation and accelerate time to value with our business-outcome-driven approach to enterprise architecture,” explained Luca de Risi, COO of MEGA.

Among the key takeaways identified by analysts, “tech assets and strategic management and organisational design” emerge as key differentiators. “As traditional EA use cases become commoditised, improved risk, security, experience, business capability, architecture governance and organisation design capabilities will dictate which providers lead the pack,” notes the Forrester report. “Vendors that are strong across all these capabilities will be attractive to EA teams, allowing them to successfully enable their firms’ digital and customer-led transformations.
