BUI attains new Gold Security Competency status from Microsoft, a local first

IT consultancy BUI is extremely proud to announce its Gold Security Competency from Microsoft.

This is a brand-new competency category from Microsoft, and BUI is the first and only South African company to achieve this status.

This distinguished status is achieved only by Microsoft partners that have demonstrated the skills, experience and expertise necessary to design, engineer and implement cloud-based information-security programs to guard against modern cyber threats and have reached at least 10 Gold Security Competencies.

“The Gold Competency is a public validation of our expertise,” says BUI Managing Director Ryan Roseveare. “We make it a priority to hire the best of the best, and our consultants are highly skilled, highly capable professionals. This accreditation further demonstrates our deep technical knowledge and our commitment to delivering innovative security solutions on the Microsoft platform.”

Microsoft introduced the Security Competency to recognise the Microsoft Partners best equipped to help customers:

• Protect critical data
• Manage user access
• Safeguard systems

To qualify, Microsoft partners must meet several skills-related and performance-related requirements, and must also continue to enhance their capabilities as cloud security providers.
