4Sight joined an elite group of only a handful of South African systems integrators certified in the Windows Server and SQL Server Migration to Microsoft Azure Advanced Specialization.

Aldo van Tonder, Digital Officer, 4Sight and head of its Modern Digital Enterprise division, says the accreditation is not just strategically important given the key role that the cloud is playing in the massive digital transformation under way across the public and private sectors, it also validates the extensive experience 4Sight brings to its partners and customers.

“CxOs are seeing some form of migration to cloud services as a lynchpin of their digital transformation strategies. 4Sight sees the cloud as a vital platform for leveraging a new generation of technologies and services to create the corporation of the future, which we are calling Enterprise 5.0,” says Van Tonder. “We see Microsoft Azure as one of the most credible and powerful of the cloud platforms, and so receiving this sought-after accreditation is important to us. The stringent audit process also ensures we have the skills needed to craft and successfully implement the unique migration strategy each organisation requires on their journey to digital transformation.”

“Azure advanced specialisation partners undergo rigorous and independent technical validation of their capabilities to ensure they meet our standards. Businesses that partner with certified system integrators like 4Sight can move forward confidently, knowing they are not only highly skilled, but have proven their abilities and are committed to their customers’ cloud migration success,” says Lionel Moyal, Commercial Partners Lead at Microsoft South Africa.

4Sight has built up a uniquely strong Microsoft Cloud practice with many Microsoft-certified specialists as well as a large number of engineers. It has also published a multitude of its own Microsoft-based solutions that leverage the power of Microsoft Azure.

“We have created a highly effective methodology for assessing where clients are in their journey to the cloud, and how to design a cloud journey that aligns with their strategy and that is largely self-funded,” he explains. “Our methodology ensures that clients reap the benefits of cloud from day one, and that the process is operationally and strategically robust.

“The Windows Server and SQL Server Migration to Microsoft Azure Advanced Specialization has strengthened our ability to help clients move to the cloud in a way that makes business sense and enhances their ability to compete in the digital marketplace.”
