At heart I am a technologist. The application of technology to a solve a business problem and create a solution that is elegant and delivers true client value is something that brings me great satisfaction. As an analytical thinker, I revel in problem solving and working with teams to create solutions to technical and business problems.

My career has taken me from a purely technical role as an individual contributor, to one where I directly managed a key business unit, to a more role where I set the strategic direction of a global business unit.

Client engagement has always been a key part of what I have done, whether it be presenting at an event or a one-on-one session, I enjoy understanding client business and IT challenges and sharing the insights gathered over 25 years working in a leading global ICT company.

I have also been in the position where I have been able to build and operate in strong, high performing teams. It has been a key part of my success and I have worked very hard to ensure that the teams I have built are seen as a yardstick to measure against. The leadership style I have adopted is to act as an enabler for my teams, I see it as my role to ensure conditions are conducive for performance. My management philosophy is simple; surround yourself with good people and give them the guidance and space to do their best.

As a senior leader in Dimension Data I have also been exposed to a global, multi-cultural work environment. Whether it be clients, the team I am currently responsible for, working across the NTT Group, or dealing with our technology partners, I have gained great experience in successfully dealing with a truly diverse set of stakeholders.

I am also a member of the Dimension Data Global Leadership Forum which consists of the top business leaders across Dimension Data.
