Lance has recently joined BDO South Africa as the Director of Forensic Technology. He has over 18 years of experience in the commercial forensic field, specialising in digital forensics, forensic data analytics and eDiscovery.

Lance started his forensic career at KPMG, and then later joined EY’s Forensic and Integrity department where he led their Forensic Technology service line.

Lance left EY in 2018 when the State Capture Commission approached him to assist them develop and operate their Forensic Datacenter, to support them in their ambitious mandate to investigate rampant corruption within all state entities.
