Dr Machiniba Sylvia Sathekge is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience gained across wide range of business and ICT areas, both at strategic and operational levels with a proven track record. She has held strategic senior positions in agriculture;manufacturing; tax, audit & advisory; mining & metals; aviation & aerospace; utilities and public sector industries. She is very good at getting the best out of people and has highly developed interpersonal skills. A strategic and innovative thinker, customer-focused and results driven, she has the ability to understand complex issues and problems and develop workable solutions, delivering business value through technology-enabled change. Academically, she holds a doctoral degree from Business School Netherlands; two master’s degrees - a Masters of Science Degree with specialisation in Technology Management from the University of Pretoria and a Master’s Degree in Business Leadership (Finance) from the University of South Africa, a B-Tech degree in IT obtained from the Tshwane University of Technology. She also has several non-academic but professional qualifications in the fields of business, management and information technology.
