Marli has over 15 years of credit experience, with a strong focus on credit granting. Her passion for problem-solving, quality and delivering client-centric solutions, with simplicity as been her guiding principle. In the early stages if her career at Transunion, ADS and Principa, Marli has built a solid foundation in bureau data, scorecard development, and credit scoring training (internationally). She also honed her ability to present complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences ensuring the business impact was clear.

Currently with Capitec, Marli leads the Retail Credit Decision Science team and plays a key role in the Centre of Mastery, guiding the future of Decision Science. Marli also serves on Capitec’s Modeling Technical Sub-Committee, ensuring the models follow best practices and deliver maximum business value.
