Mirvan was born in a small town in the Western Cape of South Africa. Finished his school career in the early 1980’s.

Mirvan joined the military and served for approximately 30 years. He left the South African National Defence Force as a senior officer and changed his career to Information Technology and Business management.

He has extensive knowledge in Government IT services as well procurement regulations. He obtained a post-graduate qualification in business management, but he also studied law as an alternative interest.

His private interests include aviation and exploration when time permits.
