Before joining MTN, Dr. Kumalo worked for, and with several global entities in the FMCG and ICT industries, contributing to digital transformation initiatives across various sectors, both within South Africa and internationally. He holds a Doctorate in Business Leadership from the University of South Africa and has extensive IT knowledge covering a broad spectrum of technology layers, from peripheral to core services. Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Kumalo is a passionate golfer and endurance athlete, having consistently completed the Two Oceans and Comrades Ultra-Marathons for ten years.
