Welcome to ITWeb Security
Summit CISO Banquet 2024!

Charged with the daunting task of safeguarding sensitive data in an environment where cyber-threats and the techniques of bad actors are constantly evolving, the role and value of the CISO has increased dramatically in recent years. With cybersecurity now also a board priority, the CISO has been rapidly elevated to a lofty position of corporate responsibility and scrutiny. From the constant barrage of ransomware and phishing attempts to the complexities of regulatory compliance and data privacy, the modern CISO must navigate a complex web of threats while balancing the need for innovation and digital transformation. Cloud, generative AI, the Internet of Things all bring new challenges that must also be considered and addressed. And if the challenge of implementing robust cybersecurity measures to deal with these evolving threats weren’t hard enough, the CISO must work to foster a culture of security awareness and resilience throughout their organisations, across all levels of the company, from the C-suite to front-line employees, and ensure that cybersecurity is ingrained in the company's DNA.

The Polo Room

The Inanda Club was founded in 1934 with the purpose of providing a home for equestrian sports. The club was located in, what was then, the countryside north of Rosebank and it is doubtful that the founders imagined that the area would become the commercial CBD of Africa.
