The must-attend gathering
for every IT, security and business decision-maker
Cyber crime is predicted to cost the world US$8 trillion in 2023, according to a 2022 report by Cybersecurity Ventures. If it were measured as a country, then cyber crime would be the world’s third largest economy after the US and China! And by the end of 2025, the cost of cyber attacks on the global economy is predict-ed to top $10.5 trillion.
So, what is driving this exponential increase?
As in every other field of business and technology, artificial intelligence (AI) is having a transformative impact on both cyber attack and defence. While AI holds great potential for enhancing cyber security, it also brings an increasing number of sophisticated and smarter AI-powered attacks.
Other key trends include the ongoing implications of cyber warfare and state-sponsored cyber attacks, continuing threats originating from the supply chain, both up and downstream, the widening security skills gap, the status of cyber security at the board level, and the shifting cyber regulation landscape, to name but a few.
