Makabongwe Siziba has 19 years of ICT experience (16 years’ experience implementing Governance of Enterprise and 11 years senior management experience IT in the public sector). He played a key leadership role in the review and approval of the Public Service Corporate Governance of Policy Framework version 2, to continually improve corporate governance of ICT in the Public Service.

At present, he serves as a Chief Information Officer. Hemanages the information and communication technology function of the organisation, ensuring the establishment of sound information management systems. This is accomplished by promoting effective management of technology and information as a strategic enabler to achieve business objectives. His role evolved as he became a key strategic business leader with his role of technologist being secondary within the organisation.
