Who can submit
Anyone who is an expert in governance, risk and compliance, has practical knowledge to share about digitally transforming a business with the customer in mind, or has a product-independent case study to showcase. Please also read the guidelines below before submitting your proposal.
What should your submission look like:
- Talk title
- Short synopsis
- 2-3 take-away benefits for delegates attending
- Short bio of the presenter
- Hi-res colour head-and-shoulders photo (min 300 DPI)
For our 2023 event, we are looking for presenters and panellists on the following topics:
- Simplifying the understanding and communication of risks in business terms.
- Understanding the different roles played by people, processes and technology in coming up with an effective strategy.
- How to ensure preparedness for emerging and unknown risks.
- How building a culture of agility and resilience helps address GRC challenges.
- New risks introduced by hybrid, distributed workforces.
- The importance of understanding that IT GRC is a thing of the past. Practitioners need to work towards a holistic enterprise GRC.
- ESG (environmental, social, and governance) – purpose-driven GRC.
- Due diligence is even more important in the digital era: How to get it right through continuous monitoring of third parties and managing third party risk.
- The role of the chief risk officer, chief audit officer and chief compliance officer in a digital enterprise.
- Evolving role of the CIO in terms of GRC.
- Implementing an effective privacy framework.
- GRC in the cloud and the latest trends.
- GRC in the face of exponential data growth.
- Can automation improve GRC?
- Managing employee wellbeing, improving retention – how this impacts GRC strategy.
Guidelines
Speakers
are encouraged to focus on case studies and the practical application of the subject rather than theory.
Presentations
should be content-rich and content should be up to date and relevant to the target audience. A breakdown of expected job titles and industry sectors can be provided on request.
