Kirti is a senior manager in BDO Financial Services. She started her career in audit at a big 4 firm and has over 6 years experience in financial services external audit, specialising in corporate and investment banking. In addition to her audit role, Kirti is also the BDO FS ALICE lead and a senior manager in BDO’s Specialised Valuations and Credit Group. Kirti has performed audit and advisory engagements across South Africa, and throughout southern Africa. In addition, she worked in the Netherlands during 2018, managing the external audits of large treasuries and investment funds. Her key areas of specialisation include the full life cycle of treasury and investment bank audits, modelling and accounting for derivatives and money market instruments, market risk reviews, rates verification testing and hedge accounting.
