Yudhvir Seetharam is responsible for the analytics and research department in FNB Commercial. As a passionate academic and data scientist, he brings together knowledge from various fields, such as analytics, economics and psychology to develop unique products that add value to both the customer and the banking industry. Seetharam holds a PhD from the University of the Witwatersrand, in the field of behavioural finance and has is one of the few Professors in Behavioural Finance in the country. His research relies on using methods from data science to understand investor and financial market behaviour. By bridging the gap between academia and practice, Yudhvir is able to empower individuals with the right set of skills to make a difference to financial services.
