Nkuli Mbundu is responsible for new business and market development of BI and analytics solutions in sub-Saharan Africa at Microstrategy. His focus is on delivering the business’s vision of “Intelligence Everywhere” to the telco and media, manufacturing, government and healthcare verticals. He was previously managing executive and executive head within the Vodacom Group and tasked with digital sales transformation, business development and customer experience, leading the sales and marketing organisations. Prior to that, Mbundu was the country manager for EMC2 Information Intelligence Group before the acquisition by Dell to form DellEMC. In his earlier roles at Ericsson and Sun Microsystems, he was sales manager and global account manager for the MTN Group across the group’s geographies. Mbundu started his career at Cisco Systems as an account manager in 1998. Throughout his career, Mbundu has received a number of sales awards both at a global and local stage. Mbundu has sales leadership and general management competencies in the areas of BI and analytics, enterprise content, converged comms and networking.
