Debbie has 35 years of IT experience; the last 21 years being Global roles. During her career she has managed large numbers of people and very complex projects. She see's herself as a strong and diverse leader. “Respect for the Individual” is her motto, which she instil's in all her interactions and expects from her team. She enjoy's change which results in new outcomes. She has done various roles in the last 15,5 years at Anglo American and De Beers, varying from very technical, contract & negotiations, project and programme management and moving back into applications after many years of infrastructure and now in a strategic role as the Group CIO. She is the chairperson of the Global IM charity organisation, Moyo, providing financial support for orphanages in the communities where we operate.
