Pieter Engelbrecht, Country manager: HPE Aruba | Hewlett Packard Enterprise, South Africa

Pieter Engelbrecht joined HP in 2012 as an HP networking sales specialist within the Enterprise Group. After the merge of HPE and Aruba in 2015, Engelbrecht was then appointed as the HPE Aruba country manager for South Africa and English-speaking Africa.

He has worked within the industry for over 15 years, gaining experience throughout his time with local value-added resellers and system integrators. He has worked in most areas of ICT infrastructure, from being a field engineer to product management in distribution. Leveraging the experience he gained in distribution, he has brought a new approach to the HPE Aruba BU that has seen quarter-on-quarter growth.

Over the years, Engelbrecht has gained various accreditations, ranging from a BCom marketing degree in ACMP sales accreditation in networking/storage and servers.

Engelbrecht is passionate about technology, especially where networking is going and the direct effect it has on how organisations can gain competitiveness.

Apart from technology, Engelbrecht enjoys sports, both as a spectator and as a participant. He lives with his wife, son and daughter.
