Skhumbuzo Clement Mtetwa was born in 1982, KZN in a small town called Edumbe, graduated from the Vaal University of Technology in 2005 where he was doing National Diploma in Information and Communication Technology, he also completed Btech in business Information Systems from the same institution, he went on to do Masters in business Administration at Management College of Southern Africa. He also completed Executive development programme from University of Pretoria. He is currently doing his Phd in Doctor of Management of Technology and innovation from Davinci institute; his research is in investigating the digital inequalities of online learning in South African institutions of higher learning.

His career started in 2006 at Gijima holdings as a business analyst where he was exposed different systems in mining environment at Anglo Coal in Witbank from 2006 to 2012, he then went to Telkom SOC where he worked as a Senior Business Analyst where he worked on different telecommunications Systems from 2012 to 2014. He then joined the Department of Science and Innovation in 2015 as Business Analyst and later promoted to Director in Information Systems where he is responsible for Providing direction to IT solution delivery and service delivery, Direct the translation of the Department’s functional and control requirements into an effective and efficient design of automated solutions, The development, design and implementation of new applications and changes to existing computer systems and software packages, oversee ongoing improvements and the feasibility of IT infrastructure and of system enhancements to support and guide individual department units in computing and information systems efforts amongst others. He possesses skills in strategic capability management, leadership, Change management, Programme and project management, service delivery innovation and problem solving and analysis.
