CrowdStrike has come on board as diamond sponsor of the ITWeb Security Summit 2021, to be held as a virtual event from 1 to 3 June.
In addition, Ava Security has been announced as platinum and CISO roundtable sponsor, and SANS Institute and KnowBe4 are both on board as thought leader sponsors.
Lisa Lawlor, events director at ITWeb, says this annual information and cyber security event continues to build on its legacy as the ‘must-attend’ gathering for IT, security and business decision-makers.
“The summit aims to inform local decision-makers of cyber security developments and how enterprises across the world are protecting their most critical data assets.”
She says all businesses are under similar pressures and face similar threats. “The threat landscape is growing increasingly complex, and adversaries, more and more determined and sophisticated.”
With this in mind, over 50 local and international speakers will present not only on trends and hot topics, but will give attendees more tangible strategies they can enlist when navigating cyber security as well as a view of the tools and solutions they can successfully deploy within their companies to achieve a strong security posture.
Moreover, Lawlor says the event will play host to all the major security vendors, who will give delegates an overall view of what, as an industry, each has to offer in this space.
Events such as the summit provide a platform for information sharing among peers, vendors and the IT industry at large. “It is an excellent opportunity to get real life examples from organisations around what works, what doesn’t and what can be done to fix it,” she ends.
