The Orange online store - launched in SA in early 2013 as the French telco began its consumer foray in the country - has exceeded expectations, with Android devices topping the sales lists.
This is according to Orange Horizons country manager Blake Levitan, who says, as the tech world heads into the next major product release cycle, this trend is expected to continue.
At the time of launch, Orange Horizons MD S'ebastien Crozier said attempts to partner with other local telecom giants like MTN and Telkom had not succeeded. Since then, the company has stuck to its product route, primarily with its online store that stocks and delivers mid- to high-end products that are not always readily available in SA.
