National technology integrator and managed services infrastructure specialist Integr8 IT has extended the reach of its fax and voice to fax managed service, FaxM8TM, to international markets with its close alliance to Data2Data.
The companies have signed a long-term partnership agreement that will strengthen Integr8 IT`s current local offering and also provide the company with access to 150 global fax-to-e-mail service providers.
The FaxM8TM service, part of Integr8 IT`s managed services portfolio, is one that instantly adds value to several data-intensive industries including legal, property, finance and banking, says Robert Sussman, joint-MD at Integr8 IT.
"These industries still focus quite extensively on the fax service, specifically in so far as compliancy, data storage and retrieval is concerned. We have pooled our market experience and knowledge of this technology to offer an instant, on-demand fax solution that enhances the digital corporate communication process by saving on the costs related to fax machine usage and maintenance as well as eliminating the need for investment in further hardware or software and establishing higher levels of security," says Sussman.
One of the key factors that the alliance aims to market is the fact that the fax mail solution has reached a level of maturity and is successfully deployed within the corporate arena, even for mission-critical applications. While e-mail certainly has an impact on paper based communication, there are still tens to hundreds of millions of fax minutes being processed in the local market.
"The complete solution is offered as a service with no cost to the client. The differentiator is the integration into third party systems such as CRM/ERP applications," explains Leon Labuschagne, director at Data2Data.
