The Computassist Group is a network of companies that provide pharmacy management systems and technology services to pharmacies across South Africa. The group assists in dispensing of products, point of sales (stock management and management systems) and group management.
In 2008, the group began the rollout of the Vox Telepreneur voice offering, the Vox ADSL phone to its ePharm clients.
“Vox came in and offered a cost saving, trackable solution, which could be managed by one supplier. They took care of everything, including billing and the ongoing management of the phones,” says Quintin White, ePharm Manager.
According to White, the biggest benefit of the solution to date has been savings. Some of the pharmacies we service have already seen savings as high as R2 000 on their monthly telephone bills.
“With the Vox solution, we now get free Vox-to-Vox calls (store-to-store), as well as rebates on our incoming calls. Added to this we are also able to view our incoming and outgoing calls in real-time, by logging on to the Vox Web site. This assists the client in managing their costs more effectively,” says White.
“Since November 2008, Vox Telepreneur solutions have been rolled out to 80 of our stations. The implementations have been a resounding success and as a result, we will offer this service to all of our sites in the near future,” says White.
