VOSS, Sizwe announce partnership

South African IT group teams with VOSS to offer cloud collaboration solutions.

VOSS Solutions, a company that enables its customers to profit from cloud-based enterprise communications by simplifying the design, delivery and management of collaboration services, today announced a partnership with Sizwe IT Group.

Sizwe IT Group is an organisation that serves the South African and African markets, offering comprehensive ICT service solutions, from providing infrastructure, networking, security, servers and storage, to end-user solutions and computer consumables. Sizwe, a Cisco Gold Partner, has an impressive list of clients in both the public and private sectors that benefit from its extensive IT experience and highly skilled professionals.

Sizwe recognised VOSS as the market-leading solution to simplify the deployment and management of collaboration services from a central point of control. With a partnership agreement in place, Sizwe is now able to resell the VOSS technology to South African organisations that are looking to roll out the next generation of enterprise communications - such as advanced telephony, messaging, mobility, collaboration and presence.

Stefan Peters, Commercial Director for VOSS Solutions, commented: “This partnership agreement is very exciting for VOSS, as it opens up a new channel of business in the South African market, where a number of highly dynamic organisations require the next generation of enterprise collaboration tools to improve business processes and speed growth.”

Deirdre van Schalkwyk, Strategic product Business Unit Exec of Sizwe, added: “We believe that collaboration services provide competitive business advantage, and there is great opportunity for South African organisations to reap the rewards that enterprise communications has to offer. We see VOSS as the key enabler to this market; the technology not only radically simplifies the process of deploying and managing collaboration services, it also gives organisations access to a self-care portal, allowing devolved administration of MACDs in real-time.”

Sizwe's partnership with VOSS complements its cloud strategy. Mega technology trends are changing how people work today: the cloud, mobile, social, and big data, are all impacting how businesses engage with their customers, partners, and employees in order to better compete. Sizwe is keeping all these trends in mind. In the case of cloud computing, Sizwe thinks of it as a key step toward helping its customers achieve better business agility, economics, and user experiences. Cloud presents an opportunity to rethink the role IT plays in defining a business strategy. Because of its power to fundamentally change how businesses operate and compete, the cloud is a game-changer for the enterprise.
