Tufin, represented locally by Blue Turtle Technologies, has announced the launch of Tufin Security Suite 4.5, encompassing the Tufin SecureTrack and SecureChange Workflow, firewall policy tracking and change management solutions. This is the first release that combines SecureTrack and SecureChange Workflow in a single product.
SecureChange Workflow 4.5 provides features such as customisable workflows according to organisational process, role-based management, integration with organisational LDAP, custom request templates, design templates, e-mail notifications on request progress, and integration with SecureTrack.
TSS 4.5 also adds several new features to SecureTrack, including support for MIP and VIP objects in Juniper policies, for calculating Policy Analysis results. It also ensures that policy analysis queries can be defined by using negated networks or services, and offers a new, flexible licensing procedure, that enables the switching of monitored devices of the same type within the licensed quantity. The update also includes on-demand compliance reporting, and the white listing of compliance policies.
SecureTrack provides automated, central policy monitoring, enabling the monitoring of changes at each firewall or network device through alert-based change detection. A version-controlled repository of policies is maintained, and this allows the easy analysis of security incidents by maintaining a full audit of configuration changes made by systems administrators. SecureTrack also supports risk analysis with reports, and enforces enterprise policy. This makes it easier to ensure compliance with regulations such as Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), Sarbanes-Oxley, and internal risk policies and business continuity requirements.
SecureChange Workflow works in combination with SecureTrack automating and tracking the policy life cycle, including change requests, risk analysis, approval, and auditing of the firewall policy change management cycle. Both solutions can work with firewall solutions from Fortinet, Juniper, Check Point, and Cisco.
