Tshwane University of Technology keeps connected with SMS

Keeping in touch with staff and students has become a lot easier at The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), thanks to a corporate SMS solution from Vox Orion.

“The system is set up so that it's easy for users in different departments to send out alerts to all their students, for example, if a lecture or test is moved or cancelled,” says the university's Stephen Rakgoale.

Vox Orion is also supplying TUT with a managed voice solution that has cut the university's telephony costs. “We've had the solution for a number of years and are very satisfied with the service we're receiving,” says Rakgoale. “It all runs very seamlessly.”
