Tactile to showcase new touch tech at digital show

Tactile Technologies, the official and sole distributor of Elo TouchSystems in sub-Saharan Africa, today announced that it will be exhibiting at the Digital Signage, Kiosk & Self Service Show that will be taking place on 13 and 14 March 2012, at the Sandton Convention Centre.

“We will be using this opportunity to display a number of new products,” commented Mauro Mercuri, Managing Director of Tactile Technologies. “These include the latest zero-bezel touch-screen monitors, i.e. with a completely flat front surface, which are ideal for self-service and interactive digital signage as they are aesthetically stunning.

“In addition, we will also be showcasing the latest Elo TouchSystems touch-screen monitors and touch-screen computers, including the latest monitor, the Elo 5500L 55,” continued Mercuri. “From a self-service point of view, we will have five different touch-screen kiosks on display that will range from 17 inches up to 46 inches, in both portrait and landscape form; and from an application perspective, our transactional solution, on which one can vend any service, will be on show, along with interactive product brochures and information directories.

“The stand will be a genuine showcase of the latest Elo touch-screen products combined with local solution developments,” says Mercuri. “This is a good showcase for our wide product range as well as our skills in developing both hardware and software solutions for touch-based applications.”
