Skillsoft partners with Sun

SkillSoft has reached an agreement with Sun Microsystems aimed at providing expanded e-learning resources to SkillSoft's client base, states Education Channel Partner.

Under the agreement, SkillSoft will be able to market and distribute Sun-authored e-learning courseware written for Java and Solaris software. The courses, which provide around 300 hours of content, are intended for mission-critical positions in software application development, as well as systems, network, and security administration.

"This extension of our established partnership with Sun will allow us to work collaboratively to offer Sun's suite of Solaris and Java e-learning products, giving SkillSoft customers a cost-effective solution for certifying their IT professionals on these important technologies," said Lee Ritze, Skillsoft's senior VP of marketing.
