At its annual Alliance Forum, "Looking into the Future", held at the South African National Military Museum on 8 May 2007, SAS South Africa awarded and thanked its top local alliance members for their efforts during the past year.
The day was aimed at keeping alliances informed and up-to-date on developments at SAS, as well as recognising the important role the partners play in assuring the success of SAS in the country.
"The SAS Alliance is aimed at establishing relationships with leading business and technology organisations, and harnessing the high level of industry knowledge these partners have. This allows us to offer complete solutions to our customers, something which is of great mutual benefit," says Murray de Villiers, Manager of Africa and Middle East Alliances at SAS.
He continues: "Each of our alliance members has incredibly high standards, broad market knowledge and exceptional vision. SAS would not have been as successful in the past year as it has been without our partners, and as such, we took this opportunity to acknowledge their achievements."
Monocle Solutions was recognised for achieving the largest FYF sales - 2006, the second award in this category was shared by SASUKA Channel and Mpumelelo IT Solutions. The most successful project delivery was awarded to Monocle Solutions for the SBSA CRM project, and the second award in this category went to QInfo for the Stats SA Phase 2 BI Project. Mpumelelo also achieved the award for most consistent sales - 2006.
The SAS Training - 2006 awards were presented to Fifth Discipline, Business Connexion and PBT.
"The SAS Alliance means we can work together with the best organisations across industries, so our joint customers get the best solutions and support, with reduced cost and shorter delivery cycles," adds De Villiers. "Congratulations to all of our alliance members, particularly those who achieved so highly, for their excellent work over the past year."
