Refrigeration expert SABCOOL appoints AccTech Systems to implement Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Commercial refrigeration and asset management expert, SABCOOL, has appointed Gold Certified Microsoft ERP Partner AccTech Systems to deploy an enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution to support its refrigeration service delivery contracts acrossAfrica.

"We provide a wide range of refrigeration solutions enabling our clients to concentrate on their core business activities," says Werner van Wyk, Manager of Information Systems at SABCOOL.

Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012's strong financial, operational and service management features will assist SABCOOL to ensure our clients continue to receive the service levels they've become accustomed to," says Van Wyk.

SABCOOL relies on a dedicated team of field technicians to repair and maintain a wide range of refrigerators, walk-in coolers, and related cooling equipment across the country. Through the deployment of the mobile server and application, these field technicians will have their schedules and instructions available at their fingertips, as well as be able to submit real-time call resolution and billing information.

"We support various customers with service level agreements, and as such, we need to guarantee response times," says Van Wyk. "Once deployed, Microsoft Dynamics AX will provide our head office with full visibility on all logged calls and the progress made on each call. Issuing of maintenance stock and inventory management is always a challenge in such a technical industry, and the new system will ensure the process of support is properly managed and tracked through the entire logistics process."
