Octopus HR utilises SaaS model
UK-based HR technology solutions provider Octopus is now utilising a software-as-a-service (SaaS) delivery model to offer a new suite of HR solutions, states TMCnet.
In its expanded form, the Octopus HR software now includes HR, recruitment, performance, time, expenses, and payroll.
The company believes the SaaS model really helps to redefine the provider-to-customer relationship and ensures the highest levels of customer service are delivered and maintained at all times.
Ramco, Tradeline team up
Indian IT product company Ramco Systems has teamed up with Tradeline, a Dubai-based trading and manufacturing group, to offer IT solutions in human capital and payroll management, says India Blooms.
Under the deal, Ramco HCM and Payroll solutions will integrate the processes of the different business units within the Tradeline Group, by providing centralised payroll processing capabilities to the group companies which will help streamlining the HR process across all the business units of Tradeline.
“The uniqueness of this package will benefit Tradeline in multiple ways,” says R Shankar, VP, Middle East Operations, Ramco Systems.
NHS implements workforce software
The National Health Service (NHS) Workforce Solutions Community has signed contracts with a group of software providers to supply workforce management software solutions, writes Employee Benefits.
Smart/HMT, Zircadian and Software Europe have built a comprehensive offering specifically for the NHS, covering rostering for doctors, nurses and other staff, staff bank management, time and attendance, payroll interface to electronic staff records, and expenses management.
In addition, North Bristol NHS Trust, Trafford Healthcare NHS Trust, The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust have all selected Software Europe's expenses2010 system for the NHS.
