It is now possible to check in for Finnair leisure flights departing from Helsinki via the Internet or by using a self-service check-in kiosk at the airport, says Asia Travel Tips.
Online check-in for leisure flights opens 12 hours before flight departure. Passengers can check in via the Internet using the booking reference they received from the tour operator and their name.
When using a self-service check-in kiosk, passengers need their passport or the booking reference and their name. After check-in, baggage can be left at the fast baggage drop desk.
Healthcare self-service solution developed
NCR Corporation, and PharmaTrust have joined with Stayhealthy to develop and deploy a self-service kiosk solution to help speed the triage and treatment of patients at Canadian hospital emergency departments (ED) and rural healthcare facilities, says Exchange Magazine
Targeted to non-critical ED patients who often wait up to two hours or more to be seen by a healthcare professional, the automated three-step Triage and Treatment solution completes registration and assessment, measures vital signs and dispenses medication based upon telemedicine control by a physician and pharmacist.
"Self-service technology has been proven to reduce wait times at some hospitals in the U.S. by up to 75% in an emergency room setting," says Luc Villeneuve, president, NCR Canada.
