Microsoft has announced it will be participating as lead partner at the 2019 DataCon Africa Summit.
According to Microsoft, DataCon Africa is the most trusted data analytics conference on the continent, and is happening from 12 to 14 March at the Cape Town International Conference Centre.
This year's event, themed 'Moving towards a data-driven & data-centric future', promises to help delegates move towards a data-driven and data- centric future.
A highlights of the event, will be Microsoft's IOT commercial director for Middle East & Africa, Steve Dunbar, who will present a keynote address 'From the edge to analytics. In addition, Ken Habson, sales director: Data & AI at Microsoft, will deliver a talk titles 'Key enablers for analytics and AI.'
The event will feature many other keynotes and presentations, as well as discussion groups. Topics will focus on data governance, strategy and operations, and data science, including artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Other highlights that are new to the 2019 edition of DataCon Africa, include:
* The big question: Six experts will be put on stage and asked how they effected change in their organisation through data analytics.
* More 'cool' use cases - What projects have data science teams delivered recently, how were they done, and what were the results?
* Fifty expert speakers, including local and international data and analytics experts from various industries, will share their years of experience and expertise on a wide range of topics.
