METAmorphosis Conference to honour support from long-standing delegates

Johannesburg, 23 May 2005

META Group South Africa (Pty) Ltd will honour 12 delegates in recognition of their longstanding support.

Peter Riches, managing director of META Group South Africa, said: "Our records indicate that these 12 individuals have attended between five and seven consecutive METAmorphosis conferences since 1999. Loyal delegates such as these truly do demonstrate the high value of the content being delivered at METAmorphosis."

Riches added: "METAmorphosis has established itself as the leading i-technology event in the world since its launch 16 years ago. This will be our final METAmorphosis conference and the best we have put together."

The METAmorphosis 2005 - Conference and Technology Showcase will open tomorrow, Tuesday, 24 May through Thursday, 26 May. The sponsors of the event will present their innovative new technologies to conference delegates, corporate i-technology managers, industry decision-makers and software buyers.

In its 13th year, this international event will take place at Caesars Convention Centre. The conference is sponsored by the world`s foremost i-technology companies, including SAP, arivia.kom, Microsoft, Oracle, SoftwareAG, GijimaAST and MTN.

An interactive Internet facility sponsored by Oracle will enable more than 350 conference delegates to access their corporate networks.

"This year`s conference and technology showcase has drawn the highest level of participation by the leaders in the industry, as well as by our conference speakers and exhibitors," said Eric Cowling, marketing manager for META Group South Africa. "At METAmorphosis, we will offer the finest business information gathering opportunity of the year. Conference presentations covering the most essential i-technology topics designed to gain real-world insight on what`s working - and what`s not, presented by our most senior analysts and advisors in their fields."

The conference will present the groundbreaking business breakthrough performance model and its three supporting foundations in what is called the Technology-Enabled Enterprise Framework (TEEF) - a conceptual architecture supported by tools, templates and methods.

With TEEF as an overarching theme, METAmorphosis 2005 will provide actionable guidance and best practices to aid your innovation, integration and execution challenges.
