MakeMeMobile, specialist in mobile enterprise solutions, recently opened a Durban branch to support the growth of the business in this region, following the company's establishment of offices in Johannesburg and Cape Town over the last 18 months.
According to Kallie van den Berg, Coastal Director at MakeMeMobile, the demand for mobile enterprise solutions in the FMCG and retail space has resulted in MakeMeMobile opening a Durban office to support the company's growing base of customers.
"Until now, we have been providing bar code scanning, mobile computing, warehouse and voice-directed work solutions to our large national customers who have operations in KwaZulu-Natal through our other offices. Our recent successes and the expansion of our customer base requires our presence in the region to provide the necessary sales and support services," he says.
"We've also seen an increase in the number of customers deploying voice-directed work based on Vocollect solutions, not only nationally, but particularly in the KwaZulu-Natal region, where many of the large FMCG companies and retailers are based," adds Van den Berg. "By opening another branch, we can meet the demand for consistent service delivery across South Africa, which is important for customers that run national operations. We are planning to open our Port Elizabeth branch before the end of the year."
Rudi Fick, a solutions architect with years of experience in the mobile enterprise industry, will lead the MakeMeMobile team in KwaZulu-Natal. Visit http://www.m3mobile.co.za/.
