Lamont IT has chosen to partner with leading automated managed software service solutions company Kaseya.
“The choice was simple,” said Wayne Lamont, founding member of the company. “We felt that if we didn't get into the managed services arena we may be left behind because traditional fix/break solutions were not working for us or our customers. The downtime was too much and having to send technicians out all the time is costly.”
Kaseya's solution allows the remote maintenance of all software related issues, freeing up technicians and providing a smooth IT system to clients. Patches, updates and most software glitches can be prevented from occurring. It shifts the focus from repair to prevention - an ideal in the IT world.
“We recognised that the managed services arena is the only way forward in the industry, and the services that we can now offer our clients with the Kaseya platform is invaluable, and will put Lamont IT a cut above those that don't offer MSP services from Kaseya. The level of service that we can now provide is hugely improved,” concludes Lamont.
According to the recent MSP mentor 100 list (February 2010), more than half of the top 100 information technology-based managed service providers (MSPs) worldwide use Kaseya. The survey also revealed that 60% of the top 25 MSPs ranked by recurring revenue use Kaseya, growing at a stunning rate of 152% despite ongoing economic conditions.
Africa's Regional Manager for Kaseya, Garth Hayward, says: “We have seen an incredible uptake of Kaseya in South Africa, mirroring our growth around the world. This is partly because of our introduction earlier this year of Kaseya 2, and also due to lower Internet connectivity costs in SA. More up-take is definitely imminent.”
