New to Kyocera Document Solutions South Africa is Hardware Product Manager, Davy Khonzani. She will manage the product life cycle of Kyocera's complete hardware range, ensuring suitable products are launched into the channel, with the appropriate price positioning. Her expertise, gained over five years as a technician and field engineer for Gestetner South Africa, will stand her in good stead in performing this function with skill and value.
Khonzani will also be involved in the training of the sales force and channel, in order to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge when it comes to selling Kyocera products into appropriate markets. Having worked as a Customer Training Consultant for Ricoh South Africa for three years, Khonzani's training skills will be invaluable to the team.
Some of the highlights in her career include her having been responsible for the launch of Ricoh's Legacy Controller (GWNX), for which she received in-depth training in The Netherlands. The GWNX subsequently became a best-seller in Ricoh's mono and colour devices range.
One of the key responsibilities in Khonzani's portfolio will be to propose vertical solutions for both devices and software, in an effort to address specific challenges identified. She will serve in an advisory capacity to exco regarding market and industry trends and requirements, in order that the company may align its marketing and sales strategy, as well as its product offerings, accordingly.
Khonzani has acquired an N+ and A+, as well as an N6 in electrical engineering, and is currently studying towards an honour's degree in marketing through IMM. She is also a Certified Business Professional with IBTA, with specific skills in customer service, leadership, project management, and business management.
On a personal level, Khonzani is family orientated and loves to spend as much time as possible with her two children. For entertainment, she enjoys reading and watching movies. To keep fit and healthy, Khonzani joined a running club, and tries to run whenever possible.
Kyocera welcomes Khonzani to the company, and looks forward to a long and fulfilling relationship.
