KBE selects UltiPro

Key Brand Entertainment (KBE) has selected Ultimate Software's UltiPro suite, writes Market Watch.

According to KBE, a developer, producer, and distributor of live theatre in the US and Canada, it chose the UltiPro suite to drive HR, payroll, and strategic talent management in the organisation.

One of KBE's key companies is Broadway Across America, a Broadway touring organisation in North America responsible for presenting shows such as Wicked, Hairspray, Chicago, The Lion King, and The Phantom of the Opera.

Payroll problems worry nurses

Thousands of nurses in Queensland hospital have been underpaid, overpaid or not paid at all, following the roll-out of a payroll solution, reports TopNews.

The hospital claims the reason for the chaos is due to the glitches caused by the online payroll software.

The Queensland nurses are urging the industrial umpire to exert pressure on the health authorities, in order to provide more certainty on when the payroll system would be fixed.

Employee tracking system debuts

With the economy forcing companies to do more with less, Count Me In has introduced Timecard Monitor 6.3, says PR Web.

This employee time tracking solution is designed to help organisations of all sizes to save time and cut costs.

Judith Katz, CEO and president of Count Me In, says: “Our time and attendance systems have successfully taken the hassles out of employee attendance and time tracking for many years.”
