Sybrin is proud to announce Karabo Moloko’s appointment as Chief Executive Officer of Sybrin SA as from 21 September 2020.
Sybrin, a leading rapid application development platform and niche digital business applications provider, recently undertook a business restructure to strengthen its delivery and value add to the market. Sybrin South Africa will focus on customers in the South African region, enabling them to accelerate their digital transformation strategy and enhance their competitive edge. This focus has created an opportunity to provide timely digital advisory, fit-for-purpose digital solutions and hands-on support.
Marius Mare, now CEO of Sybrin Group, says: “Karabo joined the Sybrin family as CEO of the newly formed South Africa business to drive both our market share growth and relevance in this market. She has a rich background, both as a business consultant and a corporate executive. In addition, Karabo has a passion for ensuring that technology plays its rightful part in the upliftment of our people and the continent as a whole.”
Moloko is a seasoned IT professional with extensive business strategy, IT operations and digital transformation experience. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Information Management and has completed executive programmes at Insead and Oxford University, majoring in Digitisation and Business Global Competitiveness. She has certifications in project management and change management. Karabo’s experience spans various industries: financial services, mining, petrochemical and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
Moloko has a passion for unleashing Africa into the fourth industrial revolution and seeing greater participation of women in technology.
Of her appointment, she says: “The timing couldn’t be more ideal. The market urgently needs high-impact value-add solutions to leverage digital disruptions and leapfrog into the fourth industrial revolution.
"I firmly believe that Sybrin SA has the necessary skills and technology to be the game-changer for our clients and the market. I’m honoured to join my passion and extensive experience to a dynamic and innovative team to accelerate our clients.”
