JHI takes ownership of technical ability with Integr8 Group partnership

The Integr8 Group, South Africa's largest privately owned national BEE ICT network integration and infrastructure management specialist, has moved its partner, the JHI national property services company, to a new level of technical capability and application.

Further entrenching its already successful partnership with JHI, the Integr8 Group has now assisted the property management company with data centre management (MPLS network with redundancy) and Microsoft and Citrix infrastructure service and support.

The two companies have made local headlines after technical engineers at the Integr8 Group successfully completed a large-scale ICT consolidation and infrastructure deployment project. This provided the company with access to a range of business-building benefits, including significant savings on bandwidth and administration cost; centralised user data and application; as well as improved access to shared services.

A primary objective of the installation was to advance the organisation towards cloud computing, centralised servers, secure ease of administration and achieve stability.

The installation involved the combination of technologies, including eDirectory; the latest version of Microsoft Exchange; Citrix Xenapp Servers; WSUS and Backup and AV deployment on the latest versions of Symantec Backup Exec. The project included migration to an MPLS infrastructure.

The latest activity on the account, including the latest in mobility and connectivity services, was identified as an important step forward in efforts to entrench and sustain JHI's ICT strategy and growth model.

“As the official information, communication and technology services and support partner to JHI, our objective is to position the company ahead of its competition. To do this we have consulted with our client and put in place infrastructure that makes a measurable difference to core operations. This is very important because the advancement of trade and success in engagement with the market remain key differentiators within both domestic and international markets,” explains Bennie Strydom, Sales Director, the Integr8 Group.

Thea Bezuidenhout, Divisional Director: Support Services at JHI, said the level of support and proactive service from the Integr8 Group is a key driver behind the property company's ICT infrastructure investment portfolio.

“Integr8 is a respected, established group and has the intellectual property, skills base and market experience to support JHI's ongoing successful entrenchment in the marketplace,” said Bezuidenhout.
