MCI Consultants today announced that I-Net Bridge, part of the JSE-listed Avusa Group, had adopted their mobile solution following a specific customisation of the product for their requirements.
“We needed a richer application than the current product we were using,” commented Miles Britton-Masekela of I-Net Bridge. “The MCI solution provided this capability and, in addition, offered multiple platform solutions as well as extra interfaces that allow us to expand our current base.”
MCI Consultants has been involved in developing mobile solutions for some of the largest financial institutions in South Africa. Through this development, MCI has emerged with a cross-platform development layer, which enables them to quickly deliver user-friendly mobile applications and mobi sites for a multitude of data sets and uses. Today, MCI has consolidated these offerings with a full mobile services capability that complements the networking and other product-related services that are already well established in the market.
“Connectivity is critical for interacting efficiently in today's constantly evolving business environment,” commented Steven Bernard, Managing Director of MCI, “and was one of the key decision criteria recognised by I-Net Bridge for their mobile activities going forward. Having access to critical data in order to respond or make decisions on-the-go is no longer a 'nice to have', but an essential and integral part of today's business environment.”
