Group Call, the free Android app used for calling multiple people, has been downloaded more than 50 000 times from the Google Play store.
The app was created two years ago and acts as a hands-free when calls to a list of people needs to be made.
"All you need to do is create a new list, add the people from your contact list and click one button. The app starts calling one contact after the other without your intervention," states the app description.
Users are able to pause in between conversations if they wish, as well as add or remove contacts while on the phone.
The creator of the app, Bangalore based entrepreneur Sujit Lalwani, says the app is useful for birthday parties, event invites, monthly calls to friends, follow-up calls, and daily calls to remote teams.
The app is meant to save time and keep users away from distraction in between calls. Users create groups once and do not have to go back to their contacts folder each time.
An iOS version is expected within the next few months.
