Fibre-optic success for MCT Telecommunications, thanks to Synergy Group

Synergy Group has made project management for MCT Telecommunications (MCT) manageable and transparent, by implementing the Sage CRM (customer relationship management) solution.

MCT has, for the past years, established a track record of supplying, implementing and delivering fibre-optic solutions on a national level. Its vision is to be the market leader and preferred partner in fibre-optic network design, provisioning and certification. This is no feeble task when MCT handles between 50 and 60 projects at a time.

With the implementation of Sage CRM, the company is confident that any issues that may arise concerning any project can be handled as soon as irregularities appear.

With Sage CRM implemented, it is easy to see what the status of each individual projects is, thus ensuring better service to their clients. Automation is key for MCT. Invoicing and orders are generated efficiently, quickly and easily. Understanding that MCT is a performance-orientated company and is driven by the results it achieves in an ever-changing landscape, it is no surprise that the highly adaptable Sage CRM system is the best business solution for the company.

Customisation of some of the key components also ensured that the duplication of efforts is minimised, coupled with Sage CRM's integration with Sage ERP Accpac, led to reduced workload and automated processes."

Everybody at MCT, especially the finance and operational departments, is excited about the capabilities of Sage CRM. With its previous system, the generating of a purchase order took 30 minutes; now purchase orders are generated as soon as a user requests it. Functionalities within this CRM system allow the user to custom-make each purchase order to the specifications of each individual client.

Germari Bezuidenhout, Financial Manager at MCT, mentioned that Sage CRM makes everybody's life easier. "The fact that Sage CRM can be custom made to every user's specific needs, from the accounts department right up to the managers, ensures complete transparency and keeps everybody on the same page. When asked about the business partnership between MCT and Synergy Group, Germari mentioned that this partnership is more of a friendship that has developed over the past three years, thanking all at Synergy, but especially the CRM consultants, James Marx and Quintin Dansey, for always being available and ready to help throughout the Sage CRM project.
