Faroese Telecom selects Comverse`s Total Communication environment

Comverse has been contracted to supply solutions from its Total Communication environment to Faroese Telecom in the Faroe Islands.

The solutions include enhancements to the carrier`s Prepaid Billing system, Multimedia Messaging Service Centre (MMSC), Mobile Data Gateway (MDG), Real-Time Data Billing (RTDB) and ImPact Call Completion and Call Management solutions, including the Who Called missed call notification service.

The Comverse Total Communication environment includes a wide range of network-based value-added services, which enable operators to provide subscribers with a feature-rich service, offering an easy-to-use environment, regardless of network type (wireline; wireless: 2G, 2.5G, 3G) or payment plan (prepaid, postpaid).

The Comverse Total Communication environment includes the next generation InSight environment, the revenue generating ImPact Services suite, a wide variety of total messaging services, real-time billing services (prepaid and postpaid), service-enabling infrastructure components and support services.
