BlueSky, the largest Salesforce systems integrator in Africa, is delighted to confirm that Katharine Janisch has been appointed as the Head of their Salesforce practice. Janisch has 25 years of experience running media and technology businesses and, more recently, has played an instrumental role in the broader African Salesforce ecosystem.

As one of the first Salesforce customers and advocates in South Africa, she has first-hand experience of the power of the platform to drive revenue growth in her previous role as Chief Revenue Officer. She has also been engaged across all tiers of the ecosystem in her career, including as an independent software vendor (ISV), which successfully launched an app on the Salesforce AppExchange into the US market in 2019, and a Salesforce systems integrator and reseller.

Her experience as a management consultant and business leader working with clients in financial services, telco, media, FMCG and retail lends her perfectly to the new role of Practice Head – Salesforce at BlueSky, where she will focus on driving customers’ digital transformation and engagement with customers using Salesforce.

“Katharine will bring strategic thinking, leadership and maturity to the BlueSky business that a fast-growing business like ours needs,” says Rassie Engelbrecht, Chief Business Officer, BlueSky. “Her experience in growing businesses sustainably while keeping our people, clients and delivery focus firmly in her sights, will be invaluable to our Salesforce practice in particular.”

BlueSky is going through a phase of rapid growth and expansion as we focus on our goal to be Africa’s largest independent digital and cloud partner by 2025. With offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Mauritius and more locations planned in future, a strong leadership team will be key in ensuring we can execute on this strategy.
